How do I book and save the Date?
Please email to finalize the menu and receive the invoice to book your date. A 50% deposit is required at time of booking and the remaining 50% payment is required 30 days prior to the event.
Is there a minimum?
Weekday minimums are $800 and weekend minimums are $1200 for all trucks except Smoking Kow BBQ. Smoking Kow BBQ has a weekday minimum of $1500 and weekend minimum of $1750. Weekdays are Monday - Thursday and weekends are Friday - Saturday.
What does the minimum cover?
The minimum goes entirely towards food. If your minimum is $!200, the $1200 is spent entirely on food and taxes. The food truck and attendant for 2 hours of service is complimentary with the minimum spend. Plates, napkins and forks are also complimentary for the given headcount.
How far do you travel?
There is no extra travel fee for any event with 20 miles of 3250 Duke Street Alexandria VA 22314. Anything outside of this radius will have a $3.75 charge per additional mile from the 20 miles. For example, if your event is 30 miles from our Duke Street location, the extra charge will be $37.50.
Is there an extra charge for the food truck or food attendant?
The minimum includes a complimentary food truck and attendant for 2 hours of food service. Our attendant will arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the food service start time. They will need an additional 10-15 min to clean and exit. Please provide your own trash can for your event.
What if i have to cancel or reschedule?
We do provide a large tent for the service window of our truck if there is inclement weather. Cancellations 30 days prior to the event allows a full refund, cancellations with less than 30 days until the event does not allow for a refund; however, we allow rescheduling up until 2 weeks prior to the event. If your preferred date is not available we can offer complimentary delivery and set up for the rescheduled event date but the client must provide their own table and tablecloth.
